Clutch issue

I’m new to these bikes but I think there is something wrong here.

If I put it in 1st gear I shouldn’t be able to push it correct?

My bike feels like no resistance when pushing it in 1st gear. But if I pull the clutch in it stops dead in it’s tracks. Any ideas

I would guess that your clutch cable is out of adjustment or installed improperly. I know I've seen a thread on clutch cable here somewhere. Is it the same in all gears. How's neutral?

Yeah only thing I can think off is that the clutch cable or worm gear is set so tight that the clutch is ALWAYS diengaged, then when you pull the lever the outer clutch cover plate is hitting the inside of the RH clutch cover.

Yup clutch cable was too tight. Loosened the screw under the cap on the left hand side of the bike now it works as it should
