Put in a new clutch and now the kickstart turns my back wheel when kicking. What could cause this?

your plates may be stuck together. Depends on how long the bike has been standing. Hold the clutch lever in and kick her over a few times, this should free the plates up. If not, see below.......
Put the bike in first gear, then hold the clutch lever in and kick her over, there should be no "bite" in the kicker. If there is, your clutch is still engaging. Adjust the clutch until it kicks over without the clutch engaging. Then try to kick it with the clutch lever untouched. this should then pin the wheel.
Make sure you are on your center stand when you do this!
