Comercial degreaser and aluminum

I just bought a parts washing bin and I noticed that most of the commercial degreasers say be careful with soft metals such as aluminum.

I went and bought the purple power degreaser which most people have used, but even that says to be cautious with aluminum.

What are your experiences?

It will stain, streak if left on to long. Wash of quickly in my experience.

Ok, i'm not too worried about staining, i was just more concerned about pitting and such.
