The copper washers everyone swaps the old ones out under the acorn nuts on top. I read it only needs 4 but werent there 8 of those crappy rubber ones stock?

Also mikes is sold out any where else got them or know what sizes work to look at a hardware store? Thanks

There are only 4, under the outside 4 acorn nuts. The inner 4 acorn nuts have plain steel washers. The 4 outside stud holes flow oil, that's why they needed a sealing washer of some sort. The inner 4 don't flow oil so a plain washer will suffice there.

You can use copper washers from the old GS Suzuki fours (part #09168-10017), available from a Suzuki dealer. Not sure about hardware store washers. They need to be pretty thick. If they're not, the acorn nut might bottom out on the stud before the head is torqued down tight enough.

Thanks guys ! I think I bought some when I was doing an xj650 that I never did so if I can find those they might fit.

I put them under all 8 of my acorn nuts too. ++++ cool factor
