XS doesn't have a cush drive. Rear sprockets are hard mounted to the wheel. If you have one, it's somebody's add-on.
Unless..... you're referring to the springs in the clutch basket?
What year or model do you have ............18 different models from 70-83, although a lot of parts swap between models there a major differences every 2 or 3 years
Somewhere along the line, someone transplanted a Suzuki rear wheel on my '73 TX. Fit just fine. Discovered the cush drive hub when wheel was removed in preparation for swing arm replacement - was badly worn from loose chain sawing away underneath.
