Different Timing readings on left and right cylinders?

Thx Jim,good to know. For those interested I tested Timing again and my findings are as follows:
Timing plug wire connector can go either way on right cylinder with same readings .
Timing plug wire connector will only work one way on left cylinder with arrow pointing to plug.
Have no idea why that is as long as it works. Thx for all the reply,lookin forward to doing some riding with my son this summer.
He's only 22 but seems to have developed a strong appreciation for the older vintage bikes. Let him ride my buttery smooth w800 and he didn't like it.
