Hey fellas,
I recently picked up an Eastwood Mig 175 for my upcoming build, so I decided a welder cart would be a nice project to get used to the welders tendencies and traits. Also, I'm a straight up cheap ass!
We've got one of those chincy bolt together carts for our little Miller 180 at work, so I took some measurements and set out to build a blatant ripoff. Still wound up costing me about $65 bucks since I bought new wheels and casters, 1/2 bar and the expanded metal and sheet metal from the local hardware store. Overall, I'm pleased with the result. I can post pics with the measurements if anyone is interested.

Looks nice! I cant wait to make my welding cart, its going to hold 3 units and 2 bottles. I waiting on buliding a shed to move my compressor out there and my cart will take its place.

OR you can do what I have been thinking of doing, cutting up a shopping cart ! Daymn homeless people never leave a good one laying in the bushes, always the one with the wobbly wheel !!!

NICE BUILD and 20x's stronger than the original you mocked it after, prolly last ya a life time !!!

Thanks for the positives.

I'm liking the welder so far. Glad I went with a 220v model since you can always throttle back a bit. Infinite voltage adjustment, Tweco style gun, spool gun for aluminum, fan, and a 3yr warranty for ~$580 shipped. The roller assembly is plastic, and the panel it's mounted to seeem a little flimsy though. These only negatives I've noticed so far...

nice cart.
I'm using a radio flyer I had all my life (40yrs) My dad and I would ride down hills in it till i was too big for both of us to fit in it.
Cant believe we never crashed. He musta been draggin his feet or something now that I think about it.
