Dropseat or not

I've been looking at all the diff. weld on hardtails and had a question about dropseat. I was thinking of going 4 1/2" stretch with a 2" drop seat. I'm 6'1 anyone about the same height with a 2" dropseat have any regrets? I'm guessing forward controls will help some. Thank You for any info

my buddies bike has a bit of a drop to it with forward controls. Im 6'0 and its pretty comfy to ride, cept for the seat

My old Nighthawk was a custom drop seat. Rode great. Cosmetically, I am going regular this time.
