I am building my first bobber and started w/ a disc brake bike. I am converting to a drum rear. Is there any difference in the brake arm/pedal between a disc and drum set up?

heres some pics of the factory drum pedal, linkage and return spring

The length is not the only difference. The drum brake is set up to pull the the rod horizontally. The disc is set up to push the rod up, to push in the master cylinder.
The pedal height adjusters are different to accommodate the different ways they operate.

So I have to have a drum sepcific pedal to make this work? No way to modify the disc pedal?

you might be able to use the disc brake pivot shaft, nut I don't think it will work very well. The leverage from the pedal to the pivot shaft will be wrong.
I would get the drum brake pivot shaft. We know that works.
Brake failure is a very dangerous thing. Not fun.
