The stock one is not working? The Pamco with E advancer is one. Lots of other choices.

yes, have read the original is not that dependable. Want to ride, not work on it.
Fix it right one time and forget it.

I got 31 years out of the original. No problems with the pamco.

I like the factory tci I have had a few,I even converted my 72 to it. I have a pamco for my rephase motor but I like the tci wish I could use it for my rephase.
With Dirtydog on this one......converted my '77 over to TCI because I had a spare setup. All things work untill they don't.......thermal dynamics?
I think as long as your TCI is working ok then run it. It may run another 20 years, or fail next week. As long as it is working why spend money till you need to.

The TCI is great when they work. If mine still worked I would have not changed it. I just bought one to convert back to stock. The Pamco goes on another bike.
