Engine Refurbish

I live in Michigan and am looking at having my 77 xs650 engine refurbished. Assuming there was no huge wear; I would only replace gaskets, seals, clutch friction material, and piston rings. The engine is already removed. I really am not feeling like doing this myself, what kind of price could I expect to have it done?

Shoot Punkskalar a message and see if he's interested. It might be awhile till he gets to it, but worth a shot. If anything he can give you pretty good number to work with on what it might cost you. You plan on doing any upgrades on it while you're doing it?

Give HUGH a shot first and if not i do them for $850.00
New seals/cam chain/cam chain guide/Pistons/rings/gasket set/Clean motor
I am in NJ your big problem is shipping cost. Motor is over 150lbs and has to go freight.
You may want to fine someone closer or just have bottom end and jugs sent and put it back together yourself.
