I had a nice Ducati, and wound up getting rid of it because I realized I was either going to kill my self or go broke paying tickets! I've decided that I just have too much racer in me to have a "modern" bike. I like to go too fast. Riding the XS650 or the RD400 is much more interesting, I don't tend to go quite so fast, and they are both very reliable. I rode the XS 275 miles Saturday, from 65ft to 6500ft and back (trip to Yosemite National Park), ran perfect, never skipped a beat. I'm sticking with the old ones, they're more fun.
