Did a search, key word "RainX", no hits. I am surprised.

Has/does anyone use RainX on their expensive shield ???

I like it on my auto glass.......... that's not plastic.

c'mon, a little feedback here, before i smear it all over a, not-so-cheap shield.
Anyone else with some experience

I haven't used Rain-X on my shield (though did use the anti-fog on my racing helmet, seemed to work well I thought) but I use it on my trucks windshield.

When applied it leaves a bit of a film. That can be removed by a spraying of water (since it's basically a wax). Also make sure the surface you are spraying it on is clean (like wipe it down with windex of some form of strong cleaner appropriate for the surface), that helps with the application of it.

I'd say if you're unsure, find an el cheapo shield and try it out (if its within your budget).

That and it stings like a bitch if it gets in your eye. Best not to do it on a windy day.

yeah! good stuff. use it on my vr-1 all the time. get the old formula, the clear runny stuff, dont get the "new and improved" thicker, white stuff.
