hi guys .. well i put a new kick starter spring on the shaft,, i,m doing something wrong as when i,ve tried putting tension on the spring the gear end up neshed with the mating gear ...does it matter ,,,and what is trick to putting it in correctly .. please regards oldbiker

hi guys.. well i think i,ve got sucess.. the kick starter shaft slipped right in .. i,m tickled pink... and i,ve now attacked the clutch hub with those mushroom screws all loose ,,not off left it until thursday... stuffed 1 screw burred over but only finger tight... .. i,m hoping i can salvage 4th gear.. i,ve got a new yamaha starter clip to go on ...,, are there better screws without doing big mods ... regards oldbiker
