First ride and first hurdle

Well after 3 years my xs chop rolled down the driveway under it's own power.

Only issue seems to be a first gear that pops out under load. :/
Not very happy about having to pull the motor.........
I'm assuming it's likely shifter fork issues.

Congratulations! Got my fingers crossed that it's just a shift-drum-star issue...

No such luck
It's forks and dogs issue. I'm swapping the tranny from my low milage 447 motor......

Yup turned out the shifter fork was done. It was ground down 1/16"
