Floridians?

I'm contemplating coming over later in the year, maybe December. I could do with some suggestion for stay overs and nice driving roads. Plan is, two weeks with three stops. So, land and drive to base one, three nights say, then onto somewhere else for three-four, then move again.
I know the boss wants to go to Miami, so round that side.
What've ya got for me chaps

Hi Yoozy,
don't sweat the climate, they got air conditioning everywhere and Miami's Nov/Dec temperatures are just about right for the average visiting Brit anyway.
You'll see the locals walking around wearing down-filled jackets and Canadian snowbirds in shorts and sandals. Although not as many as usual, what with the Canadian Dollar being only worth ~70cents US these days.

The heat won't bother our Maud, she'll sit in it turning like a sausage all day every day. I wanna get down an dirty wi da locals and get off the tourist trap. I've been to Clearwater in the past.
