Having never been real happy with the homemade forward controls I built for my Softail after being left turned by a lil ol' lady years ago (another story for another time...lol) I figured I'd give a set of floorboards a try. As Mailman said in his thread on his spiffy new ride, the ability to adjust your feet around on longer rides sounded rather appealing.
Found a set of stock boards on FB for next to nothing so away we went...
...wasn't quite feelin' the stock floorboards so broke out the crayons and started doodlin'...
Started cuttin'...drillin'...and shapin'....
...added a few rubber buttons for the grip factor...
...Fabed up some mounting brackets and got 'em mounted...
Still got a few odds and ends to button up but think they'll work out decent.
Not sure if I'm gonna go with the heel/toe set up yet but that's easy enough to try both ways.
