Fork Tubes Interchange?

I am wanting to put either 2" or 4" over fork tubes on bike chop and was wondering if I could just order the extended tubes and use the guts out of the stock ones or does it require all new insides? If someone wants to part with a pair (post 77, 35mm) let me know

I've got two sets of long tubes coming off bikes. Probably 4" over. Yes you just need the tubes IF you get tubes designed for your fork. Franks engineering FKA Forking by Frank Sells the right ones. Don't know if it's the chrome, the thickness or the extra stress of the longer tubes but it is not unusual to see the chrome worn through on extended tubes.
