Frame Geometry

I have a quick question before I begin a build, is the geometry of a 1977 frame the same as the 79?

Yes, if they're both "standard" frames.
If the '79 is a "special", there'll be some differences.

So, now I am in search of a 75-77 titled untouched frame, it's like searching for a needle in a haystack!

78 and 79 have special and standard framed models.........You are after the standard frame so can add the 78E and 79F to your search,

Frame no's....... 78E, 2F0-000101 to 2F0-020000........... 79F, 2F0-020101 to 2F0100000 .........

Not The Special 78SE or 79SF or 79SII, (Special 2)
