Was wondering what the clicking sound was at low speed i was hearing.
Come to find out, it is my outside Front brake pad moving around in the caliper, and when the pad "handle" touches the calipet, it makes a tinny clicking sound.
The inside pad is under much more tension, thus not able move around and rattle as much.
The movement of the outside pad is primarily the result of what might be some warp to the brake rotor, thus when rolling at a low speed and minimal motor noise, the clicking noise is apparent.
Does this go away if I true up the rotor, or should I add a pad shim to add tension, thus removimg the play / free movement of the pad?

Thanks.

If you rotor was warped... it's warped at all speeds and you'll " feel " it while in motion and brake lever feed back....ck for the shims that the pad slides on... :)
