Hi, I'm new to this forum, and pretty new to motorcycles as well. I recently got a 1982 xs650 heritage special. I've been learning to ride on it and I notice that when I go above like 20 mph the front wheel wobbles some. I put the bike on the center stand and the front wheel doesn't spin very freely. Any advice?

Thanks
Cody

There may be several reasons for the wobble.
If your front wheel has spokes it may have loose spokes as well as being untrue.
It could be a bad tire.
Bad wheel bearings.
It can also be worn swingarm bushings.
A loose or untrue rear wheel.
Loose steering head bearings.
Loose clamp bolts on the trees.
Low or no oil in the forks.
On the front wheel not spinning well that could be bad bearings.
Brakes dragging excessively. There will be a bit of brake drag, just part of the way disc brakes work.
