GSXR forks conversion

Hi to all, Im converting my XS650 Heritage special with GSXR 1300 hayabusa forks and noticed that they are approx 95mm shorter than the original forks. This puts the bike in a low forward position, reducing the ground clearance to 85mm at left hand side stand - low point.
The bike looks low to me. Is this typical in the front end conversion and what can I do to lengthen the forks back to a similar length of manufacture. Has anyone else experienced this?
 
nothing you can do to lengthen the forks. if you want an upside down fork that's closer to the original forks in length, you're better off adapting something from a modern dirt bike.

edit: you could use a custom triple clamp that lowers the upper clamp height to effectively lengthen the forks:
