handlebar switches rebuilding

hi everybody,

I was recently playing with handlebar switches, cleaning etc and would like to know what kind of tubing can I use to cover all wires going from switches to headlamp. any thoughts...

I like heat shrink tubing.

I was thinking about shrinking tube, but original tubing is thickier, and looks more sturdy...

To me the original tubing looks thick and clunky, while the heat-shrink is slim, low-profile and elegant, but to each his own, and whatever suits you...
