Headlight questions

OK time for the next newbie question - Headlight

i am going to be looking to get a headlight soon and before i get it i need to figure out how to put the thing on the bike (yeah and directionals also)

i have the brackets that came on the bike and that is it! the questions are -

how do you get all the wires up inside the bucket?

actual mounting?

anyone have a link to some pictures or a video that shows it step by step?

i know "what an idiot!!" but i gotta be sure i am doing things right and with no one in my area that is able to help out when i have time i gotta figure this stuff out..

I might suggest going to a site like boats.net or other and look up headlight, turnsignals etc. for your year bike to see what parts you have and what you need.

The wires all go through 3 large holes in the back of the headlight shell.

You should invest in a repair manual. Most of what you need to know is in them and the good ones have lots of pictures and diagrams. I always have one on hand when I am working on my bike ( or car or anything else with a motor ) .

Funny you should say that LOL... i came home today and a friend of mine dropped one off!

does not look like a very thorough one though but i will explore and see whats inside.

as i got taking all the parts i wanted to paint off the bike this evening i found a few more questions and will explore a bit more before asking..
