Well I have had a lot of questions about my build. Well I figured I would lay it out there lol.

Stated with a stock 1975 engine. Stripped it down and had the whole engine sand blasted.
Kick only (all internal starter parts have been removed)
277 rephased
700cc JE pistons from Hoos.
PMA swap
277 Pamco ignition
Dual XS Performance High Output Ignition Coil
Port and Polished head
3 angle valve job
R&D valve spring
New tappet valves have been radius ground & polished
Mikes XS 5th gear OD (swapped in a 1980 tranny)
8 pack clutch with Alto clutch plates.
EBC heavy duty clutch springs.
1 piece push rod
Polished shift rail.
Polished all internal gears and moving parts to a mirror finish.
18 tooth front sprocket and a 32 rear.

Im pretty sure I am for getting something, but this is the major stuff. I have about 1000 miles on the new build and it is running strong.

Nicely done! Great shots too...

i blew up a car engine in des moines once.. Got to spend some quality time sleeping in said car until i could take a bus back to Chicago...

Haha it's a classy town... Just depends on what part of Des Moines you were stuck in. Oh and I am rocking your intake manifolds on my bike!! Thanks again for an awesome product at a great price!

Hey man how is that 8-pack clutch workin for ya? Nice lookin scoot there.
I have about 1000 miles on it so far and it is holding up great!! I ride it hard as well. I am thinking about building another motor here again soon. Are you still selling the clutch plates?

I am but I am out of stock until I get my son off to school. I should have some more in stock in August if not sooner depending on how much I have left after getting all of the stuff he needs. I am also doing Aprilia style hydraulic cover mods if you ever need to go with heavier springs or you have trouble finding neutral. Check out my shops thread for them.

Sounds good man, family comes first. I do have heavier clutch springs, but have a modded worm gear for easy pull. I do have the HHB style slave cylinder but I can't find a small master cylinder I like. At some point I would like to run a hydraulic clutch setup

The bike looks like it hauls ass. No excess baggage, must be light weight. Watch out on that gravel a very unpredictable surface. Rubber side down. That is one nice bike.
