some ideas just need a think tank. How about getting a case hard bolt with the same threads as the clamp bolt. then you can put the bolt in a drillpress"I'v done this so I know it will work" then I used my 4" angel grinder with a #60 flap disk. turn on the drill press, then use the flap disk to bevel the end of the bolt to the right angle. you will be able to center the point on the bolt with very little effort. Just a thought, Ed
