Remove the springs and weights, behind them is an odd looking nut that you can tap loose with a hammer and punch, with it off the advance mech. will come off. I believe you may need to remove the nut on the end of the cam (very small one) and remove the round collar off the center rod. Once all that is off you can pry the whole housing off.
Thanks guys. I'll check it out tomorrow when I get home from work. I felt like it should slide right off and when it didn't budge I figured I was missing something.
There is an O-ring, flat gasket and round camshaft seal that are all in contact with that cup. If it hasn't been off in a while, it can require some gentle persuasion. Just be careful like malloym said, as the part is aluminum and mars easily.
