Yes, I have seen those numbers, they would indicate that there were 33,799 built. Just wondering if there were any other confirmations on that. Met a guy that told me that number was not right, he thought there were fewer 1972's. I think the numbers are accurate.

1970 numbers S650-000101--006686 = 6585
1971 Numbers S650-007101--025383 = 18282
1972 Numbers S650-100101--133900 = 33799

They are. There are accurate records up to 76. After that Yamaha has only given a maximum possible end number for each year.
