How to Clean Aluminum casings

Didn't mean to hi-jack the thread; just such gorgeous country. After coming down 35 along the river, I rode 33 east from Lacrosse through Wildcat Mt. area on way to the Dells, part of a big trip around the north shore of Lake superior on my Virago - I'll never forget it.

I bought a shaft extender from Caswell and turned my Craftsman 8" bench grinder into a poor mans buffer. I work through black, red, white and blue with the proper wheels and end up with quite a nice piece. But it is dirty. I brave the weather and do it outdoors.

I do what Oldbiker does more or less, my cases aren't like mirrors but every time you do them they get a little shinier.
