I am trying to identify this cover of its year and model. It is a bright red. The Code number is 2M0 and the Serial Number is 2FO-250101. The fuel tank this color is a duel petcock fuel tank with a offset fuel cap. If anyone can identify it please let me know.

1979 xs 650 SF................last model year Specials with metal side covers. Blue
That would be the "Carmine Red", I believe. Cardinal Red came in 1980 with the SG.
Also the side covers changed to plastic that year.
