ok so I'll start by giving you the stats on the scooter, 1981 XS650 Bobber, kick only, head light, tail light, turn sig's, Alarm system batt.

THE ISSUE
Rode home from work Thurs, ran like a raped ape, parked the bike all was fine.
woke up Fri to head to work push the bike out of the garage flick on the switches, started kicking and nothing. She always starts on the first kick, but not this time. Rechecked everything, choke, gas, switches, and kicked again......... nothing then I noticed the head light and tail light were not on.

checked the batt, switches, all grounds, and inspected wires for breaks, all checked out fine.

any ideas and help you can give would be awesome.

Fuses in place? Checked?

Connectors in headlight shell checked?

Connections to switch checked?

If all the above are good, might be the switch itself.

Yes, fuses, switches,switch connections, and headlight connections are all good...

Dead battery? Those alarm batteries are small, not just physically but electrically. With a good charging system it may put out to high a charging rate. This can cook a little battery.

I put my multi meter to the battery and it was reading good.?
I will try a full size MC battery tomorrow, but please keep the ideas coming.

Yes, it might show a full charge with out a load, try checking with the key on.
