Installing Pamco System

installing a pamco system, do i need to make sure that that pistons dont have to be tdc or anything

i think if your motor is tdc, the hole on the camshaft on the non pamco side will be upright and much easier to put in the locating pin. grind a little bit off the pin, maybe a 1/32 on an inch so prevent binding on the brass bushing. everything else will fall into place, very simple. just finished the install today. make sure the liip on the spanner but is facing out.

Classic the answer is no,just remove your points and the pamco will go right on where the lobe was.
