Can someone post a picture of ardcore's instructions. I have the hardtail but not the instruction sheet. Just want to make sure I weld it up like it's supposed to be. The bottom is straight forward but the top on the backbone is what I'm talking about mostly. I don't get what the bolt is for. Thanks in advance guys.

1980 XS650: HHB CDI, BS34mm, Ardcore hardtail.
I dont have the instructions any longer. Basically you cut a notch where you cut the frame. Screw the bolt in the metal slug and insert it into the ardcore hardtail. then drive the slug into the backbone to create a plug weld. Be sure to leave your motor in, it is used as the jig to keep frame strait.

Now that I'm thinking about it, you might slide the plug into the backbone then drive it into the hardtail. It has been about 3 years since I installed mine.
Read the dates of these posts...…………..poor guy, got no help more than three years ago.
