So I have no gauge backlighting and no neutral/high beam/parking indicators, yet I have 4 connectors that go to nothing. Any input would be much appreciated.

Left side of bike

Under the seat, these are the only two that have some kind of DC Voltage

Seriously.............What do you expect from us.

1st post .................1; absolutely no information about the bike, 2; any changes made to the bike 3; background info on you and the bike. 4;did you do the changes.

from 1970 till 1983 there were 18 different models.2 ignition systems and 1 charging system.

For an unknown connector, clean the dirt off the wires so you can see the colour code. Compare the colour code to the wiring diagram. That will tell you what is supposed to be plugged in to that connector. Simple, right!
It does appear to have a Mikesxs combo rec/reg instead of the stock individual rectifier and regulator.

Finally got ahold of the PO and it is a mikes rec/reg and he said he bought an aftermarket wiring harness along with using the some of the stock harness, which explains why I have so many random connectors, now to figure out which ones I actually need for the instruments
