I made a horizontal battery box out of the stock box. Even mounted it with the old rubber mounts. Not the purdiest thing but I made it and it was free. Still need to clean it up and paint it and add in a rubber liner. I could have mounted it a little higher but I liked the idea of using the old mounts. No frame mods and no welding.

I smashed my finger pretty good putting in the races for the tapered bearings so I "photoshoped" my parts together to get a peek at the future.
