is there a way to search threads

I cant find any way to search a particular thread. I see the search up top, but usually forums have a way to search through a thread that you are viewing. kinda like a control f in adobe

I think you are right, and this does seem to be an oversight. I don't know about other browsers, but with Firefox you can search whatever page you are looking at by clicking "edit" at the very top left menu bar, and then clicking "find', and then typing in your search term. Of course, you would have to repeat for each page of a multi-page thread, but at least the "find" window stays open and the last search entered remains entered. I assume most other browsers besides Firefox have a similar "find" function.

With chrome the find command is in the tool box(three horizontal bars upper right hand corner).

yea, but I want to search the whole thread, not just the page. ill keep looking

I found it, I am an idiot. its in the search drop down. select "this thread only".
