I Am Carbon, if you have enough roof above you the HF over head hoists can be had for fairly cheap.
I paid $130 for mine, it is rated for 1000lbs. I have pulled many a motor with it, and even used it to take the Jeep tub off the frame. It picks up my riding mower like its not even there.
