It's still WInter

Really like it !
You know, Aluminum tanks and tails and bodies on custom cycles are very popular and pricey ! Are you headed that way ?

You'll notice there aren't any complex curves in any of that stuff.

If I were 30 years younger, I'd take the time to learn metal-beating. I'd love to have an English Wheel and a bead roller.

But, at 68+, I'll stick with brass, copper, tin and hand tools.

Another long, cold Winter weekend. Actually, started on this last Thursday. It's a 3 point hitch mounted backhoe, modeled after the Woods 650 I used to have. When I traded the John Deere 750 for a Kubota, the backhoe wouldn't fit the new tractor due to cab overhang, so I sold it.

Had LOT of fun with this one. Tried a few new techniques, learned some stuff. Only got aggravated once and that was with a uncooperative tool, not the project itself. That may be a record for me...
