Hey guys,
Am hoping that this is a nice easy one that someone who's done this can chime in and solve it.
Am just in the process of installing a set of the Shell/JE pistons from Hoos and just wanted to confirm the order of the 1st and second rings.
One has a chamfer/bevel on the inner upper edge and what looks to be an insert on the outer edge (shinier material), this one is marked 2N. The other looks pretty close to rectangular cross section and is marked N.
From what I can tell cross referencing the profiles I would have picked the ring marked 2N as the top and the ring marked N as the second. Is this correct? Or then I started double guessing myself whether the markings meant something about order?
