LED Rear light wiring help please

Have you tested the brake light switches? With the bike running, or key on, you should have 12 volts (about) on one wire at each brake light switch, work the brake and you should have power to both wires/connectors at the switch you are testing.

Ok got it lads, the brown ALSO needs to be jumped together at the light checker otherwise the brake switches will not work and the brake light will not come on.......happy days !!

Hi Paul,
you say the LED stop/tail light works OK on the bench but the stop part don't work when the light is on the bike?
What I'd try is putting the old incandescent bulb lamp back on the bike to see if IT works properly.
If the incandescents work and the LEDs don't, it's the LEDs
If neither of them works, it's the wiring.

Thanks fred but all good now. I also found that now the brown is jumped the horn works too. May help someone else with same issue!

If you look at a wiring diagram battery power flows from he battery to the main switch, power from the main switch is a brown wire. The blue wire or blue with a tracer color from the main switch feeds power to the tail light.
Everything else gets power from the brown wire. So anytime you play around in the wiring be sure you brown wires are hooked up.
