LED turn signals not blinking

Besides a PO modification, the only other thing I can think of is that you may have a wiring harness from a '78, standard model, it only had one fuse, located on the right side of the battery box. I had a similar problem, tried 3 different flashers... I ended up having to run another ground to the frame, problem solved

Found the fuses, they were wrapped in a bundle with electrical tape hidden pretty well. Well know that i got that sorted, were do i attach the led flasher and the other ground you mentioned?

Got it all sorted, thanks for all the help guys. LED flasher works perfectly and the lights work well. Now if i can just get it started i can enjoy it for the rest of the riding season.

So what did you end up doing?

On the LF1-s-pin flasher get the one that ends in flat. It has flat blades in a plastic socket. Just remove the wires from the plastic and the blades plug right into the stock flasher socket. Just plug the red wire to the brown wire of the socket, the black to the brown/white wire.
Unless your flasher comes with a grey wire then plug the grey to the brown.
