Finally! Running, and getting shaken down for problems. Still a hundred things to work on, but I'm calling it done.

74 TX with uncertain age engine, PMA, PAMCO, and Motolanna seat.
2" 35mm fork drop, JD Tractor headlight, an old shortwave microphone converted to a tail light.

Trailtech Attack speedo, Shinko 705 tires. Pandemonium Brembo caliper kit and Hugh's master cylinder.

Still thinking about a 650 Central carb kit and 2-1 header.

Front end was raised a bit after pictures were taken, and a Pamco/PMA kits is on its way in the mail!

I really like how you used the stock exhaust with the bike - after spending way too much time looking for cones this and reverse megaphones that, I am thinking of staying with the stock exhaust as well. Your build may have convinced me.

Ok....had a few setbacks but here's my '81 xs650...rebuilt engine, Wassell tank, PMA, Paughco Ignition, tcBros hardtail, Powell & Peralta "BONES" Skateboard wheel-tensioner....etc....

Thanks... The forks r an EBay find.. GSXR 06/07 front. I made the stock wheel fit. Also I fit a set of Pro Tapper moto bars. I had to machine custom wheel spacers along with a disc spacer.

So here is my second go around. The hardtail was so fun that I couldn't help but try a scrambler cafe type project. Lots of fun and agony with this one having to lift everything by myself but man this thing came out just right IMO. Counter balance seat, HHB add ons, mikes xs, lowbrow customs, TC Brothers and ebay are just a few of the companies that are open today due to my patronage. Special thanks to WOLFHAWK for the exhaust and look for big things from him soon. This is pretty much the final result minus some cleaning up of the engine and carb work. Thanks everyone for the threads they really help a lot.
