rigiddude, good plan! ride it, get the bugs worked out, think about a plan of of changes, alterations, improvements. Then do major stuff in the winter. Looks good, your address nor'easter, but the bike looks European?
Looking nice what did u use for the intake tube and size.
Check for a ground wire from the triples to the frame, some years didn't have one some owners didn't think it's important. Current through the bearings will ruin them.

The tank is handmade by a friend ,he just knocked it out of a sheat of 2mm alloy ,he build it to my exact specifications and mesures (when I sit on the end of the Manx-seat my knees wedge exactly in the dents of my tank
