I have yet to ride it! I can't wait! I will need to wait for the temps to get a bit warmer.

Now THAT is a good looking XS!!!!!!

Just that rear fender would bother me a bit not being the same equidistance all round, but that's just me!:)

Front guard is no balanced as well. First thing i noticed

Its for sale if you want it, Check out the classifieds

Well...the build has started. My first XS650 and very excited!
Here's a pic. '78 Special. Last time it was regesterd was 1991. Spent the weekend going over it, fixing the POs electrical nightmare and getting it ready to fire...and it did!

Here is my Bastard Brat all complete.
As I reside in UK a rear fender will go on eventually if I can find what I want for it at a decent price.
Wouldn't mind a ribbed copper or brass one but unfortunately cannot find in UK

thats a great looking bike ....what are your plans for it ? ride it as is or mod it

is looking good so far.. Not sure about the seat arrangement though, but assume its temporary yes?
You could save quite a bit of weight and gain some clearance if you remove the main stand. What are your plans re guages ? digital or analogue

SLOWLY getting mine done.
Time is at a premium lately with taking care of my mom n dad,,,work and keeping up with a 3 acre yard n all.
Here it is now.
