Yea, the battery was probably not the best choice but it was right there helping test my wiring so I used it until i made up a wooden stand.

Click image below to see a video clip so you can hear what they sound like...don't mind the tuning, still working on that...

Nice, I still might change mine to exit like that. I ran them out of the head, angled inwards and down, then underneath the bike all the way back to the rear tire then just made turnouts. I could still make something like that to replace the turnouts. I need to take some pics.

here's mine, ascot headpipes and cocktail shakers. they are getting kind of beat after a few years of use and a couple of tip overs.

LOL. I sold that bag a while ago. Sold it for way too cheap too. It came with my bike when I bought it from a guy in CA. I'm going to make one that goes over the rear fender down under the seat.

Here is a photo of the way the pipes were when I got the bike. I think you guys would like them. I didn't like them. Exhaust blowing on my leg all the time and I think it added to the vibrations of the bike. Made the bike seem much hotter too.

Shorter pipes do add vibration... Okay, so they don't really add vibration they just change the frequency to make the vibrations more noticeable.

This is a set I built from scrap pipe, and some JC Whitney muffs I had. I put the tractor flappers on just to be a smart ass.

I love the way your bike is setup Dusty. Mind sharing some details? Frame, tank, handlebars, rear wheel/brake setup? I love it!
