Journalism deals with current events almost exclusivly with little regard to history.

it's just a joke; my lovely bride told me it makes the pipes look like one of those old canister vacuum cleaners. She doesn't like the pipe wrap. Loves the XS though.

ha. oh ok. would be kinda funny to make an exhaust tip shaped like a vacuum cleaner attachment.

eventually I'm going to polish that lever up bright to match the other one. Only takes a few minutes with the right angle die grinder w/ scotchbrite discs.
I'll leave the master cylinder that matte aluminum color, it matches up with the motor pretty well.
