So a couple hours? earlier they found the laser altimeter wasn't working. They did some sort of a software code patch to lasers on one of the onboard experiments, ie a "jury rigged" altimeter. That might not have been good enough. dunno.
Was hoping for some national news about this moon landing but unfortunately the story received much less air time than the Barbie news story
