Here is some progress on the M18. I had a devil of a time trying to figure out how to mount the rear wheel..It rolls now!

Alas that I could have bought one for £20 back in the day and now they sell for thousands.
And while modern shocks most likely work better than the stock jampots let me suggest that you scrape that nasty black paint off the magneto chain case before Mr. Stevens ghost comes to haunt you.

The shocks are 81 XS400, and he is more than welcome to come by, but till then the paint stays.
