Making decisions sucks. Wassell vs Wassell.

Gonna start hitting this build finally now that summer is slowly winding down.

Making a choice for tanks here.

The top is a sectioned wassell tank. It's super skinny, doesn't hold much for fuel.

The bottom is a frisco'd wassell. Not nearly as skinny and holds more fuel.

I have to make some choices on seats and stuff, but want to start at the tank.

Just how skinny is skinny?

I just did google web searches on "xs650 wassell tank" and "xs650 mustang tank", clicked on 'images'.
TONS of inspiration in those pics. It'll make your indecision worse...

Hi Wiz,
I run a Standard tank on my Heritage Special because it's stock tank is too small.
While you are building to a whole other set of parameters.
But you don't have to choose which tank to use right now, eh?
Paint 'em both, complete the build and then try on each tank in turn to see which one looks best to you.
And if you really can't decide, post photos with each tank on the completed bike and run a poll so we can choose for you.
