After last seasons riding I decided to do some work on my engine. I have some oilleaks and some noises that I wan't to look into. When I took out the small oilfilter on the right side i saw quite a lot of small metal pieces. The main filter has no metal i it and is whole, its the strainer type not the paperfilter-type. No metal in the oil either. Found one piece of plastic. Could it be that the PO never cleaned the side filter properly? I will check the cam chain guide anyway because of the plastic, but are there other things that could leave metal in my side filter?

It's a 1977. Supposed to be rebuilt not to long ago. But I think I got screwed by the PO on that point because I hav had all the known leaks and then some. And most of the gaskets looks old. I will check the cam chain guide as soon as I get the new parts, probably tomorrow. I Assume you mean then guide when you say camchain slipper? My norwegian tends to get in the way of my english.
